SOGLAD is a Toronto-based professional organization for physicians and medical students who are interested in the health issues of particular concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. We address these issues through professional, educational, advocacy and social activities.
Membership is open to any LGBT physicians and medical students as well as their partners. Allied health professionals are welcomed also.
SOGLAD events are regularly announced by e-mail through an automated mailing list. If you would like to be added to the list, send an e-mail message to info@ soglad.ca and provide your name, specialty, year you received or expect to receive your MD, and the city in which you practice or study.
The group is organized by an ad hoc steering committee responsible for organizing events and representing the group to the public. More details of how we function can be found in our Mission section.
